The test for science Chapter 7 will be on Friday, February 17.

In math, our test for Chapter 20 will be on Tuesday, February 14.  We will be having a (small) celebration for Valentine’s Day that day as well.  Please email me if you’d like a list of students’ names (for spelling).

Science Fair projects are due Monday, February 27.  Presentations for the science fair projects will be done that week in class.  All boards will go down to the Multiuse Room the following week and will be on display. Two winners from the class will be chosen. 

The day for make-up math tests will be Wednesday, February 29.  Students should check their grades online and choose a test with a low score to make up.  I will check in with students the day before to see which test they are going to retake.  This is not a requirement, so only students who choose to retake a test will do so. 

We will be having district benchmark assessments this week in both Language Arts and Math.  The assessments will not be included in the class grades; instead the results will go to the District Office to see how our class is doing in these areas.  We will be reviewing beforehand.

Remember, there will be no school the week of February 20-24 for President’s Day.
